Before you decide whether they liked you, decide whether you liked them.
A good debrief slows down the urge to turn every detail into evidence and brings the focus back to your own observations and goals.
What did you actually experience?
- Did you feel comfortable being yourself?
- Was the conversation reciprocal?
- Did they show curiosity?
- Were attraction and interest present for you?
- Did their words and behavior line up?
- Did anything conflict with a value or boundary that matters to you?
- Do you want another date?
The point is clarity, not a verdict
A debrief should help organize what you noticed. It should not turn a single date into a personality diagnosis or pretend that chemistry alone predicts long-term fit.
